Former Duke men’s lacrosse standout Max Quinzani was inducted into the Eastern Massachusetts Lacrosse Hall of Fame this past Saturday in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Quinzani, hailing from Duxbury, Mass., was one of the best attackman to play for the Blue Devils and still ranks as one of the top goal scorers in NCAA history. A team captain in 2010, Quinzani helped guide Duke to its first men’s lacrosse national championship as a senior, scoring 68 goals and 14 assists for 82 points en route to earning USILA All America second team honors.

A starter in 64 of his 78 career games played https://www.dukebluedevilsjersey.com/ma ... -c-25.html, the three time All American, finished his career with 199 goals and still ranks third in NCAA history. His 68 as a senior currently rank seventh in the NCAA Division I lacrosse records book. Overall for his career he totaled 236 points from 199 goals and 37 assists and sits in seventh place on the Duke scoring charts.

Quinzani arrived to Duke after leading his Duxbury High School squad to state titles in 2014, 2005 and 2006 and a four year record of 96 4. As a senior at Duxbury, he had 93 goals and 63 assists for 156 points and was named the Massachusetts Player of the Year by the Boston Globe in 2005 and 2006.

As a freshman for the Blue Devils, the deft finisher played in all 20 games and started the final six as he helped Duke to the 2007 ACC title. He would go on to lead the Blue Devils to the ACC crown in 2008 and 2009 as well.

Duke advanced to NCAA Championship Weekend in each of his four seasons and ultimately took home the trophy in 2010. During the Blue Devils’ run to the title, Quinzani registered 13 points and tallied the game winning goal with 12 seconds left to lift Duke past Virginia in the NCAA semifinals. Overall, he had four goals versus the Cavaliers.

He was a four time ACC Honor Roll selection and earned USILA Scholar All America honors his senior campaign.

Overall for his career, Quinzani was a three time All American, including second team recognition in 2010, three time All ACC pick, garnered ACC All Tournament team honors three times and was voted to the 2010 NCAA All Tournament Team. He still holds Duke’s single season goals record 68 and has two of the top six single season performances in Blue Devil history. After his stellar career at Duke Luke Kennard Jersey, Quinzani went on to play for the Boston Cannons as the No. 3 pick in the Major League Lacrosse draft. He continued his championship status with the Cannons, leading the organization to the MLL title in 2011. In his two seasons with the Cannons he totaled 36 goals and 15 assists for 51 points in 18 games.
